Suzanne Gray

Sue Gray’s research is on dynamics and predictability of extratropical weather systems ranging from the Mediterranean to the Arctic, and from deep convection to synoptic-scale cyclones and weather regimes. She has particular interests in the role of diabatic processes and the use of ensemble forecasts. She was awarded the 2016 Buchan prize of the Royal Meteorological Society for her contributions to research into sting-jet cyclones.
