Eviatar Bach

Eviatar Bach is joining the University of Reading as a Lecturer in the Department of Meteorology and the Department of Mathematics and Statistics in July. Eviatar was previously a postdoctoral fellow at the California Institute of Technology and École Normale Supérieure. Prior to this, Eviatar obtained a PhD in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences at the University of Maryland, College Park, and a bachelor's at the University of British Columbia. Eviatar's research interests include data assimilation and machine learning, the predictability of weather and climate, and the application of ideas from dynamical systems to climate.
