LOCATION
The Dalton Building

Manchester M1 5GB
The Royal Meteorological Society is pleased to announce the RMetS Annual Weather and Climate Conference 2025. The event will take place at Manchester Metropolitan University from 2–4 July, and will combine keynote presentations, oral sessions, posters, and workshops.
Call for Papers
We are seeking contributions from those in academia, public and private sectors who are working in or studying weather and climate and its applications, or in associated interdisciplinary areas.
The event will bring together the UK weather and climate community to showcase cutting-edge science and facilitate new ideas and collaborations. We particularly wish to highlight the use of novel approaches, methodologies, and applications within meteorology and climate science.
This is your opportunity to keep up-to-date with activities from across the whole community.
We welcome all abstract submissions related to weather and climate; however, the following broad themes will run across the conference:
- High-resolution global and regional modelling
- Novel observations and their applications
- Machine learning for weather and climate
- Extreme events in a changing climate
The deadline for abstract submission has been extended until Friday 21 February 2025. We welcome abstracts from anyone working in weather and climate at all stages of their careers.
