Newcastle upon Tyne
Tyne and Wear

We are happy to announce a call for abstracts for the 4th UK National Climate Impacts Meeting which will be held in the Henry Daysh Building, Newcastle University on the 5-6th September 2024.
The meeting aims to facilitate exchange between the academic community, industry practitioners, policy makers and any organisations involved in informing climate adaptation and Net Zero planning. We welcome national and international contributions from scientists, decision-makers and industry professionals that look to further our understanding of climate impacts and risks. In recognition of the broad effects of climate change, we welcome novel contributions from a range of topics such as - but not limited to - weather and climate driven impacts, risk assessments, risk management, and climate adaptation in any sector.
We note that this will be an in-person meeting. We hope that participation will be free of charge depending on funding, but there may be a small fee to pay to cover lunches on both days. This will be confirmed in due course and we will confirm details for formal registration at a later date.
