The RMetS Early Careers of Colour Network offers a vibrant online community tailored for early careers of colour working in or around weather and climate science. It serves as a hub providing support, camaraderie, and professional development opportunities.
At its core, the network comprises an Early Careers of Colour Discord Server. This dedicated space is designed to facilitate discussions, provide valuable support, and share pertinent opportunities for early career scientists in academia and industry.
The network also hosts 'Diverse Voices,' an innovative series of engaging online 'fireside' chats. These insightful conversations help to amplify and celebrate the rich diversity among scientists contributing to the field of weather and climate in the UK, as well as providing opportunities to gain insight from the experiences of senior people within the field.
